How Can We Create a Culture of Security Throughout Society?
Course
Andres Prieto Anton, Sergio Trindade, Trish McGill and Emyr Thomas discuss strategies for embedding cybersecurity awareness in organizational culture and daily operations.
An appropriate cybersecurity strategy must take into account the existing organizational model and culture in today’s complex industrial landscape. Nevertheless, ensuring that this is cultural through society is even more important to ensure that it becomes a day-to-day consideration. This session will therefore explore:
- How can we make cybersecurity awareness a cultural matter?
- How can we communicate in layman language to improve cybersecurity both in our daily lives and organizations?
- What is the difference between compliance and security? Is there one?
- Where can risk assessments be utilized internally to ensure that we stay secure? How should our IT-OT strategies differ in ensuring security?
- What are the best practices we can implement daily to stay secure?
