Abdulhakeem Al Alawi shares a framework for managing supply chain risk, exploring standardized third-party risk management across supply chain participants, and discussing protection strategies against cyberattacks.

The rising incidence of supply chain issues is becoming critical to our infrastructure’s security. Currently, 62% of system intrusion incidents stem from an organization’s supply chain - emphasizing the risk that cyberthreats to our businesses pose to our supply chains. Hence, managing these risks is essential to ensure our businesses stay secure.

In this session, Abdulhakeem Al Alawi, information security manager (CISO) at Oman LNG, will:

  • Share a case study example of a positive framework for managing supply chain risk;
  • Explore how standardizing a third-party risk management program across all supply chain participants can help protect against risk;
