Rohit Bajpai, Kiran Kumar, Moayad Al Ghanmi, and Hani Bani Amer explore effective cybersecurity strategies despite financial limitations, leveraging automation and AI to defend against expanding threats.

Through the Middle East, e-crime threat actors are primarily motivated by financial gain, often targeting organizations with vulnerable network defenses to access networks or data. Their goal is typically to sell stolen data on the darkweb or to ransom it back to the victim organization. Nevertheless, limited budgets often mean our organizations do not invest what they should. This session will, consequently, explore how we can build a strategy to defend against these threats despite financial constraints. It will cover:

  • What does a good cybersecurity strategy look like for our organizations on both the business and technological side?
  • How can we leverage automation and AI to reduce costs?
  • How can we best sell our strategies to our boards?
  • How can we stay ahead of future threats when building our cyber strategies to defend against an expanding threat landscape?
