Lessons Learned to Protect Our Manufacturers
Course
In this session, Lina Dabit of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will explore how to identify, assess and mitigate insider threats in today's volatile landscape, with a focus on disinformation, awareness gaps and risk reduction strategies.
An insider threat is the potential for an insider to use their authorized access or understanding of an organization to harm that organization by jeopardizing the well-being of a company and its stakeholders.
In the context of the current geopolitical landscape, as well as a lack of awareness within our organizations - these threats are ever increasing. This session will focus on how we can best ensure protection against insider threats. It will discuss the challenges brought by insider threats, how disinformation plays a significant role in exacerbating insider threats, how we can best identify potential insider threats to our organizations and strategies to best mitigate risk to prevent the potential of insider threats to do damage.
