Zero Trust in the AI Era
Course
Sanjit Ganguli examines how zero trust architecture must evolve to address AI-driven threats in financial services, sharing strategies for network transformation and emerging security paradigms in the age of artificial intelligence.
As financial institutions accelerate AI adoption, traditional perimeter-based security models are proving inadequate to address the expanding attack surface and sophisticated threats weaponized by AI. The convergence of cloud, IoT and AI has fundamentally broken the castle-and-moat security approach, creating new risks from sensitive data leakage to public LLMs, AI-powered phishing and social engineering, and compromised AI applications through prompt injection.
In this session, led by Sanjit Ganguli, vice president and CTO in residence at Zscaler, you will:
- Understand how zero trust and AI together, unlike firewalls, provide the strongest cyber defense by stopping threat actors from lateral movement within networks;
- Learn strategies for protecting AI applications developed internally for customers and employees, while preventing data leaks from public AI applications;
- Discover how AI is being leveraged for better cyber defense, in areas like segmentation, data classification and agentic operations.
