Delinea's Roger Gallego examines how AI agents and non-human identity sprawl are breaking traditional access models and why authorization controls are now the most critical line of defense against credential-based attacks.

Identity has become the primary battlefield in cybersecurity, and the explosion of non-human identities is making it harder to defend. In this session, Roger Gallego of Delinea examines how the rise of artificial intelligence agents, service accounts and machine identities is exposing the limits of traditional privileged access models, and why authorization, not just authentication, is the critical control organizations need to get right in 2026.

The session will explore:

  • How cybercriminals are bypassing perimeter defenses entirely by purchasing or socially engineering access, then moving laterally through environments with insufficient authorization controls;
  • How the proliferation of AI agents and non-human identities is outpacing organizational visibility, creating shadow access risks that traditional PAM tools were never designed to govern at this scale;
  • How a unified authorization platform can contain the blast radius of a credential compromise before it becomes a breach.
