The day begins not with a security dashboard but with WhatsApp, scrutinizing threat chatter before the rest of the organization wakes up. By midday, a zero-day has derailed the schedule, the board needs reassurance in plain language, vendors are in the waiting room, and the CFO wants to know why more budget is needed when nothing has gone wrong.
